Yea…another year of Anugerah Juara Lagu. This is annual event that being waited by Malaysian who love music and it’s still popular although it already 28 times being organized. Tonight, #ajl28 was trending worldwide. So, here are my personal reviews of the show.

OPENING:
I Love the concept. Opening performance by Shila Amzah & Mus May singing to Mahakarya Cinta (original by Faizal Tahir). Then, followed by dance performance with the music lead by DJ Fuzz.
FIRST SONG: AKU PELAT BY SALAMMUSIK
For tonight, the performance start with poem recital. I love the costume and the music arrangement of this song for tonight performance.
SECOND SONG: TAKKAN TERPISAH BY BLACK
OST from popular drama at ASTRO Mustika , Jodoh Itu Milik Kita (novel adaptation) . For tonight, nothing special being shows to the audience. It’s just him and the song. I love his vocal.
THIRD SONG: IN LOVE WITH YOU BY NOH HUJAN & AIZAT AMDAN
The vocal from both of them harmonized well. Love their outfit, looks like airlines cabin crew wearing black sunglasses. Both of them were like McCourtney & John Lennon’s Malay version. But in the middle of the performance its looks like the music instruments not so sync.
FOURTH SONG: HANYA AKU BY HYPERACT
OST from one of most popular drama series at TV3, TEDUHAN KASIH (adaptation from Novel). I Sang along with the singer for the song. They made new arrangement for the intro of the song.
FIFTH SONG: BOSAN BY STACY
Oh, No!!! There’s zombie on the stage. The awesome props and performance. She had done some stunt action for this song.
SIXTH SONG: BAHAGIAMU DERITAKU BY HAFIZ
My favourite song from my bias, Hafiz. Love the lyric and Music Video. Tonight, he started singing accompany by the orchestra. The stage was awesome and suits for the song lyric. His vocal was awesome.
SEVENTH SONG: PANGLIPURLARA BY HAZAMA
The intro music so sweet. It sounds like a game music. His stage look cool same as his vocal. Start with game end with game.
EIGHT SONG: IKUT RENTAKKU BY JACLYN VICTOR
She’s not alone. She invited 5 singers together with her as her backup vocal. Adibah Noor , Dina Nadzir, Salamiah Hassan, Atillia and Elvira. Nice performance.
NINTH SONG: SAHABAT BY NAJWA LATIF, SHAM KAMARUL AND SLEEQ
My favourite song. This song talked about friendship. For tonight performance, they performed the musical drama. The stage crowded with a university student to show their friendship. Simple but sweet performance by them.
TENTH SONG: TANDA TANYA BY AZLAN AND THE TYPEWRITER
Nice vocal. I like the lyric of this song.
ELEVEN SONG: KAU YANG TERINDAH BY ALYAH
Another OST from TV3 Drama, Kau Yang Terindah. Tonight, it started with monolog and the stage transformed into the God of War movie type of stage. I like her dress tonight.
TWELVE SONG: KALAU AKU KAYA BY AWI RAFAEL , ALTIMEET
The catchy song talked about what will you do if you’re a rich person. Since its about money, then there’s a paper that symbolized money drop down from the sky and fall into the audience seats. Everyone excited and assume that was the real money.
SPECIAL PERFORMANCE:
To calm down everyone, there’s a special performance while waiting for the result. What can I say, their stage was awesome. The collaboration with the legend and the new singers.

- PUTUS TERPAKSA & SANGKAR CINTA by ZIANA ZAIN & FILSUF – New music arrangement for this song. These two songs being rapped & remix. Ziana as always, awesome performance with her vocal.
- CEK MEK MOLEK / GILA JUDI BY M DAUD KILAU & Waris – Miss his performance especially his trademark dance for his song.
- PAWANA by Amy Search (original), Waris, Filsuf, Zaidi ONE and DJ Fuzz.
